The Regis Company (TRC) wanted to improve our office layout/efficiencies, upgrade to a VOIP telecommunications system and relocate to a highly desirable market (6% vacancy) without overpaying. Rare Space successfully negotiated a lease rate that was 20% below market, saved TRC about $18/SF in improvement costs, TRC was able to construct our new HQ to exactly fit our business at no cost, and we are moving into the newest building in the city. Additionally, the Rare Space Tech team is handling the fairly complex relocation, upgrade and provisioning of our VOIP/teleco system. Rare Space has been a valuable partner, and has delivered solutions long after the lease has been signed.

Virtela selected Rare Space to help us evaluate the options of restructuring our lease, renewing our lease and the possibility of relocating our corporate HQ. Ultimately we renewed our lease, and Rare Space was able to reduce our lease rate and adjust our base year for operating expenses.
